If you're an EMDR clinician working with clients with complex trauma and dissociation and are ready to take the next step in your ability to meet your clients' deepest needs, then you are in the right place.
Struggling to integrate EMDR into your work with clients with complex trauma, dissociation or who experienced early childhood abuse or neglect?
Many of us sought training in EMDR in order to help our clients heal from trauma but when we began to implement it with clients who have childhood trauma histories, things didn’t go as planned. Maybe a client experienced no relief or change in symptoms or maybe the client got worse instead of better. As a result, you may have become hesitant utilizing EMDR with your clients and returned to resourcing, talk therapy or a behavioral approach.
The Introductory webinar will offer you the tools and support to energize your work with complex client presentations. And give you the confidence to understand your client’s experience and know how to effectively utilize EMDR for their benefit.
“This course helped my clinical practice so much. I learned much more than I anticipated and wish I would have taken it years ago, after my Basic training. It has helped me support my clients and continue to build their safety and security in doing EMDR.”

The Introductory webinar is a 10 month educational experience like no other.
It has been structured to provide clinicians with multiple ways of learning and integrating the concepts including didactic presentations, experiential exercises, and case consultation.
Didactic: We utilize Gonzalez & Mosquera’s EMDR and Dissociation: The Progressive Approach as our primary text. Presentations of the chapters, supplemented with Farnsworth and Kristen’s own clinical experiences, will support you in understanding the readings. Each presentation is followed by an open Q&A period so you can get clarity on any concepts discussed.
Experiential: The Introductory webinar includes one live demonstration and two practicums of the Meeting Place (also known as Fraser's Dissociative Table Technique). Experience the power of the Meeting Place intervention with your colleagues in small groups. Leave with a script to begin utilizing it with your clients.
Integrative: Open case consultation is one of the most valuable aspects of our 10 month journey. As you learn through didactic and experiential exercises and begin to incorporate it with your clients, bring any and all questions to consultation. Through consultation you will be able to deeply integrate what you have learned and walk away feeling more confident in your clinical abilities.
Community: By far the most important aspect of the webinar is the community created with colleagues who provide validation and encouragement along the journey. Farnsworth and Kristen strive to create a learning space that is genuine, empathic, accepting and honoring of your unique gifts.

“This course increased my confidence as a clinician as I was able to listen to my clients vs. worry about my level of expertise in addressing structural dissociation.”
